Homemade Apple slices for afternoon tea.

Recipe
- 1 lb of plain flour
- 4 oz of lard
- 6 oz of margarine
- 1/4 pt of cold Water
- Make pastry out of those ingredients.
Instructions:
- Roll half the pastry to a flat square and lay it on a baking tray.
- Cover that pastry with tinned apples (apricots
are nice too) leaving the edges free. - Brush the edges with cold water.
- Cover all with the rest of the pastry pressing the edges firmly and making a few little holes
in the top with a fork. - Brush the top with an egg/milk wash
and bake for about 30 to 40 min. at 175. - When ready sprinkle sugar on top
while still hot
