Ingredients

For the Pork Chops:

  • 4 boneless pork chops (¾ to 1 inch thick)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian style)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  2. Prepare the Coating:
In a shallow bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  3. Prepare the Pork Chops:
Brush each pork chop with olive oil or butter on both sides to help the coating stick.

  4. Coat the Chops:
Press each chop firmly into the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides evenly. Shake off excess.

  5. Bake:
Place coated pork chops on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

  6. Finish & Serve:
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Garnish with fresh parsley or a squeeze of lemon juice if desired.

Tips

  • For extra crispiness, broil the chops for 1–2 minutes at the end.

  • Use panko breadcrumbs for a lighter crunch.

  • Pair with roasted veggies, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
