Ingredients
-
Potatoes: 4 large russet or Yukon Gold potatoes, sliced into even rounds
-
Oil: 3 tablespoons olive oil (or melted butter)
-
Seasoning: 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, and 1 teaspoon paprika
-
Herbs: 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped) or dried Italian herbs
-
Salt & Pepper: To taste
Instructions
-
Prep the Potatoes: Wash and peel the potatoes (optional), then slice them into evenly thick rounds so they cook uniformly.
-
Season: Place the potato slices in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, then add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss well until every slice is evenly coated.
-
Cook: Arrange the potato slices neatly in a single layer inside a preheated skillet, roasting pan, or air fryer basket.
-
Roast: Cook at 200°C (400°F) for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the edges are deeply golden and crispy.
-
Garnish: Remove from heat, sprinkle fresh chopped parsley over the top, and serve warm.
Chef’s Tip: For an extra crispy crust, soak your sliced potatoes in cold water for 15 minutes before drying them thoroughly with a paper towel prior to oiling.
