EQUIPMENT
-
Air Fryer
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 pound ground beef 80/20 fat
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
-
-
Preheat the Air Fryer at 370 F for 4 minutes. Preheating your air fryer is important for optimum cooking so the airflow will be at the right levels.
-
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Once combined, evenly divide the beef mixture into four portions, and form ground beef into flat patties, equally sized patties in shape and thickness.
-
Place the hamburger patties in the preheated air fryer basket. Place them in a single layer, without stacking or overlapping. Using a single layer will ensure that there is plenty of circulation and the food cooks completely.
-
Air fry burgers at 370 degrees F for 10-12 minutes. Flip burgers halfway through so both sides get cooked the same. Depending on your preferred degree of doneness, you may need to add an extra minute of cooking.
-
NOTES:
If cooking frozen hamburger patties, add an extra minute or two to the cook time to ensure they are cooked thoroughly.
