Loads of butter on tiger toast with mashed egg in a cup

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of thick white bread (preferably tiger bread or sourdough)
  • 4 tbsp butter (softened, or more for extra richness)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional, for a savory kick)
  • ½ tsp paprika or black pepper (for extra flavor)
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, gouda, or a mix)

For the Mashed Egg in a Cup:

  • 2 large eggs (hard-boiled)
  • 1 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise or cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Mashed Egg in a Cup

  1. Boil the eggs: Place the eggs in boiling water and cook for 10-12 minutes until fully hard-boiled.
  2. Peel and mash: Transfer the eggs to a bowl, mash them with a fork until soft and crumbly.
