🌾 No-Knead Seed Bread (Bowl-Baked)

🥣 Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1½ tsp salt

  • 1 tsp sugar or honey

  • 1 packet (2¼ tsp) instant dry yeast

  • 1 cup mixed seeds
    (sunflower, pumpkin, flax, sesame – use what you like)

  • 1¼ cups warm water (not hot)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (optional, for softer bread)


🥄 Instructions

1️⃣ Mix the dough

In a large bowl, mix:

  • Flour

  • Salt

  • Sugar

  • Yeast

  • Seeds

Add warm water (and olive oil if using).
Stir with a spoon until you get a sticky dough.

No kneading needed 👍


2️⃣ First rise

  • Cover the bowl with a clean towel or plastic wrap

  • Let it rise 1–1½ hours, until doubled in size


3️⃣ Prepare for baking

  • Grease a heat-safe glass bowl or baking dish

  • Gently stir the dough once to release air

  • Transfer dough into the greased bowl

  • Smooth the top with a spoon

Let rest 20–30 minutes while oven heats.


4️⃣ Bake

  • Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F)

  • Bake 35–40 minutes

  • Top should be golden and firm

If top browns too fast, loosely cover with foil.


5️⃣ Cool & slice

  • Let bread cool 10–15 minutes

  • Remove from bowl

  • Slice and enjoy 🍞
