Ingredients:
- 4 slices of crispy  bacon
- 2 large  eggs
- 2 slices of bread or 1 sandwich roll
- 1 tbsp butter (for toasting bread)
- 1 slice of cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1-2 lettuce leaves (optional)
- Â 2 slices of tomato (optional)
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- Dash of hot sauce (optional)
Instructions:
- Cook the bacon: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Lay the bacon slices flat in the pan and cook until crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
- Prepare the eggs: In the same skillet, crack the eggs and cook to your preference:
- Sunny-side-up for a gooey yolk.
- Scrambled for a softer texture.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Toast the bread: Spread butter on one side of each bread slice. Toast in a clean skillet or toaster until golden brown.Â
- Assemble the sandwich:
- Layer the lettuce and tomato slices (if using) on one slice of bread.
- Add the bacon, cooked eggs, and cheese (optional) on top.
- Drizzle hot sauce if desired, then top with the second slice of bread.
