Ingredients:
- 1 loaf of French bread or baguette
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) of unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- While the air fryer is preheating, prepare the garlic butter spread. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, and optional chopped parsley. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Cut the French bread or baguette in half lengthwise.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the buttered bread. Make sure to cover the bread evenly with the cheese.
- Season the bread with a pinch of salt and some freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Place the prepared garlic bread halves in the preheated air fryer. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to do this in batches.
- Air fry the cheesy garlic bread at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-8 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy and golden brown. Cooking times may vary depending on the air fryer model, so keep a close eye on it to prevent burning.
- Once done, carefully remove the garlic bread from the air fryer. It will be hot, so use tongs or a spatula to handle it.
- Let the cheesy garlic bread cool for a minute or two before slicing it into smaller pieces for serving.
- Optionally, garnish with more fresh chopped parsley or additional grated Parmesan cheese before serving…
