Air Fryer Cornish Pasties

Air fryer Cornish pasties are a delightful twist on the classic British pastry, offering a modern and convenient cooking method that results in a perfectly crispy and golden crust. These handheld savory pies are traditionally filled with a hearty combination of diced meat, potatoes, onions, and seasonings, creating a delicious and satisfying meal in every bite.

To prepare air fryer Cornish pasties, start by rolling out a flaky pastry dough and carefully filling it with a generous portion of the savory filling. The air fryer then comes into play, transforming these pasties into a healthier alternative to traditional deep-fried versions. The hot circulating air ensures an even and crisp exterior, while the inside remains tender and flavorful.

One of the key advantages of using an air fryer for Cornish pasties is the reduced amount of oil required, resulting in a lighter and less greasy final product. This cooking method also significantly cuts down on cooking time, allowing you to enjoy the delightful combination of textures and flavors in a fraction of the time it would take in a conventional oven.

The air fryer Cornish pasties are versatile and make for a convenient meal option, whether as a snack, lunch, or dinner. Serve them with a side of your favorite dipping sauce or pair them with a fresh salad for a well-rounded and satisfying meal. With the air fryer’s efficiency and the timeless appeal of Cornish pasties, this dish becomes a modern and delicious addition to your culinary repertoire.
