  • Salt to taste
  • 1.5 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions

  • Bring out the raw frozen drumsticks from the freezer. Add them to a bowl.If they are not in individual pieces and stuck together by ice, put them in the air fryer and air fry at 190C/380F for 5 minutes then use a spatula to separate them into individual pieces before adding them into a bowl. Drain the liquid settled at the bottom of the air fryer basket.

Notes

  • If you are unable to separate the frozen wings into individual pieces by just running underwater, you can put them in the air fryer and air fry for 4 minutes then separate them into individual pieces, season, and then continue to air fry till cooked.
  • Cook from frozen no need to thaw/defrost them first.
  • You can use your favorite seasoning on the wings.
  • The pepper quantity stated in this recipe is a guide and can be adjusted to suit your taste.
  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer as that can make the wings cook unevenly. Arrange chicken wings in one layer in the air fryer basket or rack. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • If you’d like to toss in sauce like bbq sauce, do so in the last 5 minutes of the cooking time.
  • Note that bigger wings will take longer to cook than smaller ones so check on them from 20 minutes.
  • When you buy fresh wings, before putting them in the freezer, clean and portion.
