Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) button or cremini mushrooms, cleaned and trimmed
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme (or 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Mushrooms:
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, olive oil, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Add the mushrooms to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the garlic butter mixture.
- Air Fry the Mushrooms:
- Place the mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even roasting. The mushrooms should be tender and slightly golden brown when done.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Transfer the roasted mushrooms to a serving dish.
- If desired, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
Tips:
- Ensure the mushrooms are in a single layer for even cooking. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Feel free to experiment with additional seasonings like rosemary, oregano, or red pepper flakes for a different flavor profile.
