Air Fryer lasagna

Making lasagna in an air fryer can be a quick and convenient alternative to using the oven. Here’s a simple recipe for air fryer lasagna:

Ingredients:

  • 6 lasagna noodles, cooked according to package instructions
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Assemble the Lasagna:
    • In a small bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper.
    • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of your air fryer basket or tray.
    • Place one lasagna noodle on top of the sauce in the air fryer basket.
    • Spread a layer of the ricotta cheese mixture over the noodle, followed by a layer of marinara sauce and a sprinkle of shredded mozzarella cheese.
    • Repeat the layers until you have used all the noodles and filling, ending with a layer of marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  3. Air Fry the Lasagna:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
    • Place the assembled lasagna in the air fryer basket or on the tray. You may need to cut the lasagna noodles to fit the size of your air fryer.
    • Cook the lasagna in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the lasagna is heated through.
  4. Serve: Carefully remove the lasagna from the air fryer and let it cool slightly before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired, and serve hot.
