Air-Fryer Pork Belly

You will need

  • 400 grams pork belly (sliced into about 0.8-1cm thick long pieces)
  • 3 shallots
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 lemongrass (only white parts)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon five spice powder
  • 1 1⁄2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 1⁄2 tablespoon annatto oil
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients except pork belly into a food processor and pulse until it’s smooth ( or almost).
  2. Place pork belly slices into a mixing bowl and pour in the blended marinade sauce. Give it a massage until the meat is well-coated.
  3. Once the meat is ready, place them in an air-fryer and cook at 200C for 10 mins.
    Remove the basket from the air-fryer and flip the pork. Cook at 200C for the last 4-5 mins.
  4. Slice and serve with your fav grilled meat sauce. I like to dip into hot sauce or Korean Ssamjang ( seasoned soybean paste )OMG I really love it!
