Cheesy Stuffed Pizza Muffins

Cheesy Stuffed Pizza Muffins

These Cheesy Stuffed Pizza Muffins are little bites of pizza perfection! Soft, golden dough is stuffed with gooey mozzarella, savory pepperoni, and rich pizza sauce, then baked until the cheese is bubbling and the edges are beautifully golden. They’re perfect for a quick family dinner, lunchbox treat, party appetizer, or game-day snack.

🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup mini pepperoni or chopped pepperoni
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Optional: sliced olives, cooked sausage, mushrooms, or diced bell peppers

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prepare the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin.

2. Cut the Dough

Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into 12 roughly equal pieces. Flatten each piece slightly so it’s large enough to hold the filling.

3. Stuff the Muffins

Place one piece of dough into each muffin cup, gently pressing it against the bottom and sides.

Add about 1 teaspoon pizza sauce, a sprinkle of mozzarella, and some pepperoni to the center.

Top with a little more cheese.

4. Seal

Pull the dough edges toward the center and pinch them together to seal the filling inside.

Place each stuffed piece seam-side down in the muffin tin.

5. Add the Topping

Mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush the tops of the dough with the seasoned butter.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

6. Bake

Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the muffins are puffed, golden brown, and the cheese is melted.

7. Finish & Serve

Let them cool for 5 minutes before removing them from the pan.

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

🧀 Easy Variations

Supreme: Add mushrooms, peppers, olives, and cooked sausage.

Meat Lovers: Use pepperoni, bacon, sausage, and ham.

Three Cheese: Combine mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan.

Spicy: Add sliced jalapeños and a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes.

⭐ Pro Tips

  • Don’t overfill the dough—the cheese can escape while baking.
  • Pinch the seams tightly so the filling stays inside.
  • Let the muffins rest briefly before removing them from the pan.
  • For an extra-crispy top, brush with garlic butter during the last few minutes of baking.

These are best served hot and cheesy, with warm marinara or pizza sauce on the side. 🍕❤️
