Cookies Made From Brownie Mix
Description
These decadent, fudgy cookies combine the best of both worlds: the rich, chocolatey texture of a classic brownie baked into thick, chewy, bakery-style cookies. Topped with melted chocolate chips, they are an absolute treat for any chocolate lover.
Ingredients
-
Brownie Mix: 1 box (18 oz) brownie mix
-
Flour: 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
-
Eggs: 2 large eggs
-
Oil/Butter: (As typically required by your brownie mix box, usually about 1/3 cup vegetable oil or melted butter, unless specified otherwise)
-
Extra Chocolate: Optional chocolate chips or chunks for pressing on top
Instructions
-
Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the 18 oz box of brownie mix, 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, 2 large eggs, and the oil or butter required by your mix box. Stir until a thick, sticky dough forms.
-
Chill (Optional): If the dough is too sticky to handle, chill it in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes to make it easier to scoop.
-
Scoop & Shape: Drop rounded portions of the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between them as they will spread slightly.
-
Bake: Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the tops are shiny, cracked, and set around the edges (be careful not to overbake so they stay fudgy inside).
-
Cool: Let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
