-
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
-
2 cups broccoli florets
-
-
Chicken Seasoning:
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp paprika
-
1/2 tsp onion powder
-
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
-
Garlic Cream Sauce:
-
1 tbsp butter
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
Instructions
-
Cook the Rice: Prepare 2 cups of white rice according to package directions and set aside.
-
Steam the Broccoli: Steam or blanch the broccoli florets until tender-crisp and bright green, then set aside.
-
Season and Cook the Chicken: Mix the garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper, then rub the mixture evenly over the chicken breasts. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, and slice into strips.
-
Make the Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes until it begins to thicken. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth, then season with salt and pepper.
-
Assemble the Bowls: Divide the cooked rice among serving bowls. Top with the steamed broccoli and sliced seasoned chicken.
-
Serve: Generously drizzle the rich garlic cream sauce over the chicken and broccoli, and serve warm!
