Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread
Components:
- 1 loaf of Italian bread and 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, grated
- One cup of finely shredded mozzarella cheese
- three minced garlic cloves
- Two tablespoons of freshly chopped parsley
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Guides:
- Preheat the Oven: While you are preparing the bread, preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the Italian bread in half lengthwise and place both halves, cut side up, on a baking sheet to prepare the bread.
- To make the Garlic Cheese Spread, place the melted butter, Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl and blend until a creamy, well-combined mixture forms.
- Spread the Mixture: For optimal taste, evenly coat every inch of the sliced sides of the bread with a mixture of cheese and garlic.
- Bake the Bread: For 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbling, and beginning to turn golden, place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.
- Optional: Broil for Extra Crispiness: Preheat your oven to broil for one to two minutes more to have a crunchier finish. Watch it carefully to make sure it doesn’t burn!
- Serve: Take the bread out of the oven, cut it into pieces, and present it warm. Savor this indulgent, garlicky treat!
