Ingredients:
- 1 large pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- 1 large burger bun (optional for extra authenticity)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a baking sheet to form a large pizza base.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil, garlic, and onion. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Add ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked through, breaking it up into crumbles as it cooks.
- Once the beef mixture is ready, spread it evenly over the prepared pizza dough.
- Layer the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese generously on top of the beef.
- Add the cooked bacon pieces over the cheese.
- Optional: Add a whole burger bun in the center for a fun, burger-inspired twist.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the pizza crust is golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
