Description
These golden, pan-seared chicken tenders are coated in a rich, savory garlic butter sauce and finished with fresh herbs and a hint of lemon. Crispy on the edges, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor, they make for an effortless and satisfying main dish.
Ingredients
-
Chicken: 1.5 lbs chicken tenders (or boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into strips)
-
Butter: 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
-
Oil: 1 tablespoon olive oil
-
Garlic: 4 cloves minced garlic
-
Seasoning: 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, salt, and black pepper to taste
-
Garnish: Fresh chopped parsley and lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
-
Season the Chicken: Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels. Season both sides evenly with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
-
Sear the Chicken: Heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken tenders in a single layer and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 74°C or 165°F). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
-
Make Garlic Butter Sauce: Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic to the same skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
-
Coat & Serve: Return the cooked chicken tenders to the skillet, tossing them thoroughly in the warm garlic butter sauce. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges on the side.
