AIR FRYER DEVILED EGGS

EQUIPMENT

  • 1 Air Fryer

INGREDIENTS:

    • 8 eggs
    • 1 cup flour
    • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
    • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
    • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • paprika for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Add six eggs to the basket of the air fryer. You can also use a trivet to keep the eggs from moving around.
  • Set the temperature to 270 degrees Fahrenheit, and the cooking time to 17 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the eggs from the air fryer and completely submerge them directly into a bowl of ice water.
  • Let the eggs sit in the ice bath for 10 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the outer shell of the egg.
  • Once the shells are removed, slice the eggs in half, lengthwise.
  • Take the yellow yolks and place them into a small bowl.
  • Add the flour into a small bowl and the panko breadcrumbs into a separate small bowl.
  • Take the two uncooked eggs and whisk them together into a small bowl.
  • Dip the egg whites into the flour, then into the whisked eggs, and then into the panko breadcrumbs. Once they’ve all been dipped, spray and coat them with love oil spray.
  • Place the breaded egg whites into the basket of the air fryer and air fry at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes, flip, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • To make the filling, use a fork, mash the yellow yolks until they are crumbled into small pieces. Add the mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  •  Use a Tablespoon, scoop the yellow egg mixture back into the fried egg whites. Garnish with paprika for a classic look, and sprinkle with fresh parsley flakes for a little color.

I think that adding crushed pork rinds to the top of these eggs is perfection! It’s a great way to add a crunch. Don’t forget to dab a little hot sauce on top, too!

You can fill a piping bag with the creamy yolk filling and pipe it into the perfect hard-boiled eggs, or you can use a spoon and add, too. However you want to fill these perfect eggs, do so.
