1.5 to 2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails can be left on or removed)

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

4–5 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth if preferred)

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs or regular breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a slight kick)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Arrange the Shrimp: Place the peeled and deveined shrimp in a single, even layer in a baking dish or roasting pan.

Make the Scampi Butter Sauce: In a bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, white wine, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Pour this mixture evenly over the shrimp.

Prepare the Topping: In a small bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped fresh parsley.
