Ingredients:
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough or biscuit doug
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices (or regular pepperoni, chopped)
- 1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce, for dipping
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray.
2. Prepare Dough: Roll out the pizza or biscuit dough and cut it into 8-10 equal squares or circles (depending on how many bombs you want).
3. Fill Dough: Place about 1 tablespoon of shredded mozzarella and a few pieces of pepperoni in the center of each dough piece. Pull the dough edges up and over the filling, pinching tightly to seal.
4. Arrange on Sheet: Place the filled dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
5. Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush this mixture over each dough ball.
6. Bake: Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the bombs are golden brown and cooked through.
7. Add Finishing Touches: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and add fresh basil or parsley if desired.
8. Serve: Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
Enjoy your cheesy pepperoni pizza bombs!
